I love this! When I was a kid, I had a jewelry box with a box with a wind-up musical ballerina. It was one of my favorite possessions. I remember the joy and fun as I turned that lever.
Beautiful....Reminds me of a girl friend years ago, who all she had to do was hear a song being played and she'd staying dancing & swaying....Even if she had never ever had heard the song before hand....That's the magic & power of beautiful music....

Your poetry describes the highly choreographed nature of the life of a music box dancer. She never gets tired of the spin generated at just the right time when the music chimes.
Oh, how I enjoyed this poem, dear Sandie! This took me back to when I was a young girl and had a music box with a ballerina who would spin around. You wrote this as if the dancer was speaking to the one who wound her up! 'Love it!
I used to love it when I was little to watch the little ballerina

I love those music boxes! I've tried looking for them in ebay but most good ones are quite expensive when the shipping fee is added in. I'm not familiar with the theme Dark Shadow, I will look for it in Youtube. They've got everything you need to find over there.
I love music boxes, and the dancer in yours makes it complete. To this day, my favorite music box was the one Barnabas gave Josette On Dark Shadows. I love that tune.
