Certain Memories Define A Child In Many Ways That Are
Permanence Of How They Perceive Their World & The Safety Of It....

I Highly Recommend EMDR Therapy for ALL Trauma Victims.
Also Know that being victimized within any situation can be overcome!!
You no longer have to be a "victim" (less you choose to be)

You CAN Be a Survivor....healing wounds...

 Left Behind

 Chameleon of distillation
as a dusted panel lain…
From voices inner strength
the darkness will still remain…

A permanence of betrayals
left their mark upon a scar…
A wounded child suffers
beneath God’s brilliant star…

Who hears this born silence
from turmoil’s left behind?
A murderous echo lives
within the frontier of her mind…

Many childhood wounds never heal. One way to ease the pain is to cover the wounds with so many loving memories that there's no room left to live in the hurtful past.

A deep and profound write, Dear Vickie.

I will have to try a brief stanza form like this tomorrow perhaps. This poem is mysterious, and I think one would perhaps get a different meaning than another from this poem, but in a good way.

The yearning in these words for the end of pain and painful memories tear at the reader's heart and beg for action. Well done.

Vickie,

Sad and poignant write. Let us hope for new frontiers where we can blaze trails and set new examples for those that follow. Peace, Love and Blessings Always, Paul.
