A Singularity of Consciousness Pinpoints the matrix of mortal existence Within the all-encompassing Formative Void. Devoid of hope we slide down The slippery slope Of Moral relativity, Denying the Heaven-sent. Our subsistence-level Righteousness Leads us directly to An extinction-level event. Hip hop realities reveal the banality of Daily life, Jobless and hopeless the bass beats Awaken the Forsaken, Who exist only to persist in suicidal behavior, Denying the existence of a Savior In favor of their own limited intelligence And egocentrically-driven belligerence. Love seems lost as we argue over Our daily bread. You tell me I�m crazy So I beat you over the head With a lead pipe instead of kissing you and Caressing you and Recognizing that our shared pathology Is nothing new; That it is a spiritual affliction, An addiction to the material world That keeps us restless, Eyes twitching, subject to self-hypnosis As society�s subliminal messages Prevent Gnosis. This is the awakening of Knowledge That surpasses anything we learn in college. Worldly universities are less than elementary When it comes to living life righteously. Might this not be a test of the best in Humanity, Subject to the profanity of worldly incarnation, Subsumed within the ethnic and racial cauldron of National identity? Prayer and meditation take up absolutely too much time When we�re consumed by the daily grind And life�s Trials and Tribulations feel like The Stations of the Cross. Like so much flotsam and dross We�re tossed between Heaven and Hell, Crucified by pride and the derision of our peers, Through the years, we stumble and fall, Bloodied and bent, humbled by tears That reflect the fears of a Godless reality, Falling prey to the malignantly narcissistic mentality With hopeless finality. Life being only a hazy veneer covering The formlessness of true Being, Lotus-like we rise into the Light Beyond seeing, freeing ourselves by releasing Our hold upon the world, Upon Desire, Envy, Possession, the fire of Passion, The Mortal Love of family and friends, the Sins That lead us to begin again, to Reincarnate, To slake our thirst for life in repetitive strides. Walking the path of Immortality we trip deliriously Past Righteousness in favor of Existence alone, Masochistic to the core we smile through The mask of blood as we are stoned By the multitude as we vacate the flesh Once again returned to� That Singularity of Consciousness Released from the matrix of mortal existence Free to be, within the all-encompassing Formative Void.

Mark, time to Pastor a Church! Your kind of thinking is needed and never taught anywhere! If it were, we may begin to see a change in our society. You place a window of clarity between the material and the spiritual, Mark, making it quite clear that clawing and dragging oneself through the web of materialistic acceptance will not aid us in our spiritual quest. We have chosen "things" instead of life, seeking material pleasures instead of building upon those things that will enrich our soul. Material things will will fail us as they wear thin and lose their charm, but faith, introspection, love and vision will lift us higher every day. As we step through the door to the next level in our lives, our material treasures will not be there to help us find our way into heaven and God's good graces. This is a profound write, Mark and leaves the reader with much to reflect upon as we evaluate our own pathway through life.

Ah, Mr. Rockeymoore, your admirable 'propensity' towards absorbing, and redirecting, a Gnostic understanding of Life shines with intensity in this piece.

There is much to think upon while reading 'Singularity', many arrows of direction laid out with a pithy awareness that inspires and creates new lines of thoughts to an open-minded reader.

Centuries of misdirection have numbed and sedated humanity into pitiful, pliable actors, taking up their 'Stations of the Cross' with little questioning and searching for any essence-meaning beyond what's written with the blood of Man's arrogant complicity.

Your 'call' to 'reform' does not contain the savageness of Earth's history, rather, though experiencing its predjudice, it draws upon the reader's own intelligence and instinct to look a little harder at how true spiritualism is attained, and encourages the reader to take this path to esoteric fulfillment.
