I just downloaded and listened to Soul's Rise audio. It is just awesome, Mark. You are so enunciated and I love your voice rhythm, how you flow. I love the background vocals. They enhance your audio poet presentation. Somehow, I felt like I was at an Up With People concert. This material is just so today's life. Great job, Mark.
This is one of your best..Wisdom is the GOAL because knowledge can take you only so far but wisdom contains the elements of compassion and love..I think you know I foster teenage girls and provide what is called treatment foster care but in reality the girls that get to my doorstep are products of the street and I can't erase that and have long ago stopped trying to..so any knowledge or training provided to me becomes useless most of the time and what little wisdom I have gained is what works..I can't help but think with your youth and wisdom what you have the tools to accomplish..Your soul does rise high!

You've almost paraphrased 2 Timothy, verses 1-5.
Good work, I enjoyed the read.
Life is all about the choices we make and about gathering the data to make our choices "informed choices." It is easy to be lead by those we associate with but that is not making a choice it is following the choices made by others. We must learn to think outside the box and to see beyond our little piece of the world if we are going to be part of the betterment of mankind. If we don't accept that we are part of the problem there is no chance that we can be part of the solution. Excellent write, Mark.
