No More

You're too busy in your world to
remember to worry or care about me

Your forgotten and unspoken words
leave a lasting impression of molded
emptiness.

My heart's not a swinging door for your
darts of thorns to pierce, spill and waste its
existence

My wounded soul's tears flow. The nakedness
it feels, burns and hurts from the salt.

No more will I wait for the tenderness
of your touch

No more will I wait for my soul to fly
weightless with wings

No more will I wait for your time to
include me.

No more will I wait…I have no time for you.
