Cupid and Old Olive

Little Cupid was so in love with his little Cubie that he met at a river.

There was not another Cubie living that could make his heart quiver.

But Old Olive had got it in her head that Little Cupid belonged to her.

So she set out instantly to destroy this love and troubles began to stir.

Olive started rumors about the two and people began to believe.

That Cupid was being unfaithful and he had something up his sleeve.

And Old Olive Cupie shamelessly flirted with him each & every day.

She didn’t care what people thought or care what they had to say.

Little Cupid didn’t want to hurt Olive but he just couldn’t stand by.

And watch her hurt & destroy his Cupie who was the apple of his eye.

So he asked Olive to meet him, told her where & what time to be there.

But when Olive arrived a little early, she was greeted by a giant bear.

The bear was shot with Cupid’s arrow and loved Olive right away.

But Olive was completely terrified and climbed up a tree to stay.

No one even seemed to miss Olive for she didn’t have many friends.

They just thought she moved away to help her broken heart mend.

But others believed that Olive’s tree was pollinated & spread around.

For Olive trees sprung up everywhere when Olive didn’t come down.
