~ Behind the Door ~ Panic sears, eyes close to the window of darkness, as the last breath suffocates between quivering lips. Trembling, vibrating pulses race within, cold sweat beads upon brows. Silent screams, echoes in my mind as thoughts invade. Will I be found! Copyright 2002 Tracey L. Hardie
