Twist of fate was at work in the life of a woman who slept rough in London

The Lady Who Slept Under The Arches

On the streets of London she found a place to live and all that was left was just skin and bone .

She shivered in the cold winter wind and slept around a fire at night cold and alone.

There in the darkness
under the archway of a railway track that had now become her home .

She had lived that way ever since sweet karma had blown in to her life from somewhere unknown .

She was no stranger to the
cruel hand of fate that had taken almost everything she owned .

She lived on the street and did
her best to ignore all the insults
that where frequently thrown .

Then she was lifted up on her feet
and floated down the street into a bright light that shone .

After that no one saw her again ,
people often wondered where
the old lady l had gone .

Her suffering was over
they couldn’t insult her anymore ,
and their lives carried on .

Some of those who had insulted her ended up under the arch
where the sun never shone .

Then they knew what it felt like
to loose everything and wake up cold and hungry in the dawn .
