I long to feel....

safe in your arms

Lost in your eyes

Close to your heart

I Long to be with you

But we're miles apart

I see you in my dreams

A fleeting kiss, remiss

Of times gone by

And yet when I awake

I start to cry

I miss you so much

I feel I could die

But then I realise

You are not real

But in my dream

And I want to scream

But silence overcomes me

And I can barely speak

As tears run down my cheek

Why do I cry

For this mystery guy

Who flaunts his rippled arms

And dazzles with his charms

Makes me wet

with tears of regret

When all I see is

within the realm beyond

I want to abscond

With my dream man

And I'm left wondering...

when I can?
