This is a very powerful poem, Helen! I liked the illustration you used, cheered in my heart as I read the message you so beautifully showed...There will no doubt be many who read this who identify with the man here. Truthful writing so needed today...
No human is beyond Christ's saving grace!

The last two lines ring true, how he patiently awaits the day that we stop playing Jonah and keep getting swallowed by his whale.

My true story, "A Reason for Living," tells of that exact moment when we finally concur and comply with his offer to love us unconditionally, if only we will stop running away long enough to listen.
