Are been in Gethsemane
And saw You kneel and pray

Following Your footprints with my own
Watching You casting out demons
Commanding Satan to be gone

Placed a crown of thorns on Your head
Nailed You to the cross that day
I wish I could have been there
Oh, the tears I would have cried
When I watched my Blessed Saviour
As You suffered and You died

My precious Jesus, You were gone
