Depressed people are very good at hiding things from everyone around them. The real downside to that is you can fool the people who care about you, but you can never fool yourself. But you will someday find a reason to wear a genuine smile. Author's Den is one of my reasons. It feels good.

Oh yes how well I know the depression you talk about. The hurting and the pain and the doubt and the lonliness. But it doesn't have to be. We have choices. Linda your smile is so beautiful it is always worthwhile seeing it. I have done the smiling depressive bit but i just figured that the smile was good practice for when it was a real one. Stay strong

I use to hide behind my smile,
but people could see the pain in my eyes.
I keep busy and don't think in the past, or what's going to happen in the future. All
