*In honor of my daughter Donna's father-in-law Hughey Long, who went to be with his Saviour at 11:10 last night. He left a legacy of love.. He always said the Lord would take care of him. He did.*

My first day in Heaven I could never explain The peace and joy I feel There is no more pain Put a smile on your face Please dry your tears The Lord gave me to you For many years He knew I was suffering When an angel took my hand With a smile I followed her Hoping you would understand **************************** I don't wish for you sadness That you may grieve A part of me still lingers In the memories I leave My love for each one of you Lives within your heart I'll be watching over you Even though we are apart I'll be the gentle breeze You feel in your hair When you need me the most I will be there ************************** When you look at the heavens And you think of me Know God had it all planned This was meant to be All the angels sang When the Lord called me home The hardest part was leaving My loved ones alone I'll watch you from Heavens Window up above Surrounding you with peace And my undying love ************************* My first day in Heaven I could never explain The peace and joy I feel There is no more pain � Linda Hill 2003**

Beautiful tribute. My mother died on the table but came back to us. she has memories of the "No pain and lots of love and peace."
