Pity me my secret love, for the crumbs beneath your shoes are the banquet that I long for, and the heartache that I choose. Pity me my secret love, for your steps that pass my way are all the treasures of my life, and the sunshine of my day. Pity me my secret love, for each longing gaze I give, for though your eyes are blind to me just your glimpse is why I live.
