Land-bound,
he asseses and taxes
you
he fears
waters'
ways
He will not stay,
he never has....
In seasons of sorrow
and brilliance,
don’t forget who you are.
It’s not you
he can’t see,
touch the
many layered,
colored crystals,
hold two opposites
at one time;
solid and yet fluid
as those Colorada hot-springs,
gushing miraculous water
from stone
reds to blues.
He is not bad he is weak,
his pain splatters
your good
silk
affections
This is not your shame,
you inherited,
any more than the errors of wars
If you fight, you will not win,
for his are not
your watery ways.
