My life has been changing the last two
years,finding the REAL me!

Poem Artwork

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

My heart cries out in desperation
As my mind starts sorting my life
I might as well have drawn straws
The outcome may have been surprising

At this late date I try to move forward
Like a chess piece who can only move
so many spaces at a time
I'm being pulled in every direction

Knowing what I have to do
        Does
not alleviate my heartaches

Nor my regrets, as I have many
I've always tried to be consistently fair

I wish I could erase the blackboard
       Fully knowing changes are inevitable
       Life.  . Love.  . Happiness.  .
       Changes are growing experiences

       People I have befriended. . .
People I've fallen in love with
People I wanted to know better
People who didn't wish to know me better

My life will be forever changing
Almost like I get a new lease
       A new beginning
       A very different ending
