One was black
The other
Dapple grey
Wild horses
Who befriended
Each other at
A time when
They needed
A helping hand
They changed
Grew up
Realizing it
Was their moment
Of truth For them to go
Their separate
Ways. ..
Never forgetting
What they did
For one another
Knowing they
Will pass
This way again
