A vent towards my body

Deep inside my soul I often hate you Your deception is intolerable I depend on you for my very life Only to learn you cannot be true I can count on you now and then You help me through each day Then like a sensual seductive lover You deceive me once again Oh I loathe the way you hurt me The pain you cause flows deep Tears are my companion now As I beg to be set free Our relationship is so precarious My hope and faith in you are gone The pain you often cause me Overshadows the feeling I call trust I remember when you were steadfast Something that I could rely on Ah, but the past is now over The forever relationship did not last The mark of the wolf has struck me Leaving me engulfed in pain Dear body that I always trusted You have deceived me once again I hate the way that Lupus rules The way I feel each day Dear Body how I detest you For not remaining healthy, reliable and true . � Copyright 2004 Sherry Gibson. A heartfelt write.
So sorry to hear that you have to go through both, the pain of the body and the pain of a lost love.

i feel the same way about my arthritis. i hate my body too, and i hate how the pain makes me feel! heartbreaking and heartwrenching write! people don't understand what i go through, and unless they are in my shoes, i wish they'd leave me the he** alone at times!
