Sherry, this verse shows that you and your husband are able to find joy in life and each other, no matter the circumstances. It's so clear that life with lupus can be reimagined and reivented, when we lead with our spirits.

Ah, the sun. Golden globe and hot as an oven. I like frolicking at night. It makes all the rough edges disappear and makes the world magical. Kinda like Sherry and her poems. Instead of a magic wand...she has a magic pen. Thanks friend...you are a wonder.

An excellent poem dealing with lupus and how it changes a person life. Even the simple act of going outside in the sun that many take for granted, can wreak havoc for those with lupus. I know, I have SLE. I also have been blessed with knowing this wonderful lady, Sherry, and calling her friend.
