Poem Artwork

After signing a dirty contract with the rats,

The cats ran away through a divine path.

The males found asylum in monasteries

And females took veils and purred

Scriptures, inside the thick walls of nunneries

But there were young Toms, revolutionaries

They were given bells to tie around the neck

And were offered leaves in the book of history

But who will tie the bell for the cat?

No rat had an answer for this question

Sales went down and the dog

Who owned a sex shop in the Cat's Town,

Committed suicide

Of what use are rubber goods?

In a life that is completely divine?

Three days after the funeral, his bitch

Went to a vet and got spayed

And freed herself from all disgraces.

An evidence is no evidence

Unless it is rock solid

The rats...........

They were everywhere

They weren't ready to dance to the tune

Of the piper the council hired

They demanded their own tune,

Annoying those who paid the piper

They shattered the imperial pride

By gnawing down the fortresses.

History became history

As they ate all manuscripts.

The council was met several times

But all in vain

Some wise men even tried

Burning their dwellings down

To defeat the ignoble rodents

When armies were brought they managed

To burrow deep into the mountains

It was their final decision

To sabotage the textile industry

Without clothes the private parts

Lost their privacy and when

The supervisor summoned

She was in her birth-suit

On seeing that heavenly beauty

The supervisor voiced

His decision to keep the gates

To the paradise, wide open

Thus the paradise was regained.
