Romnesia

(A pre-existing mental condition covered under Obamacare)

You’re both for and against a woman’s right to choose
You can’t recall if Detroit should win or lose
Maybe you’ve got Romnesia.
You want to get tough on those Chinese cheats
Send them our jobs, import their dry wall sheets
Maybe you’ve got Romnesia.
Your pop came in from Mexico
But those other 12 million have got to go
Maybe you’ve got Romnesia.
The Vietnam War was the place to be
But just for us and not for thee
Maybe you’ve got Romnesia.
Your tax returns are locked away
You won’t reveal how little you pay
Maybe you’ve got Romnesia.
Your grand pappy fled to Mexico
He had 5 wives and wanted 5 more
Maybe you’ve got Romnesia.
Was your last lie a flip, or was it a flop?
You don’t know, but you can’t stop
Maybe you’ve got Romnesia.
Insult the world, what do you care
You’ve got all the dough and you’ve got the fare
Maybe you’ve got Romnesia.
Tear down our plants ship our jobs to China
It makes them happy in Carolina
Maybe you’ve got Romnesia.
47 million without health care
But you’ve got yours so what do you care?
Maybe you’ve got Romnesia.
Put her in the kitchen, put her in a binder
Put her any place where you can’t find her.
Maybe you’ve got Romnesia.
Your heart doesn’t beat, it doesn’t hip hop
It just goes flip flop flip flop flip flop
Maybe you’ve got Romnesia

Only someone from a place like the Ozarks would try to take credit for a coined term (not a ploy) that is all over the national news. The president used it in fun, and so did I. This poem is listed under the category "humor." Now, got a review?

I have seen Obama using this ploy and speeches recently. Did you get it from him, or did he get it from you?

The very King of Flip Flop, indeed,
I wonder what he'll say, next week.
