A poem inspired entirely by this photo from the chandelier sales folder. That's my story...and I'm sticking with it.

What’s Hanging from Your Chandelier?

Of all the panties that I've seen
And I’ve seen some
There’s not another pair like these
They're unclean some.

Hanging there up in the air
Hanging there without a care
Hanging there from an affair
Perhaps a threesome?

They’re as red as red can be
They’re smoking hot for all to see
Almost like a water flea
They’re so weesome.

Clinging to my chandelier
Clinging there without a fear
Looking like a souvenir
A bit wearisome.

Oh their rumpled crumpled weaving
A clue of someone quickly leaving
In a trail lustful and deceiving
Not so glee some.

Were they flung in celebration
Were they flung in anticipation
Or merely in renunciation
From one who wanted some?

A mystery ne’re to be resolved
One in which I was not involved
But I still would like it solved
Otherwise I may have to wear some.
