Pheromones Я Us

Down where the ick is thick
and the goo is too
and our days turn into
nights
There's a time to dwell
on those glandular smells
filled with hot olfactory delights.

Where there's one part me
and one part you
and the mix is aromatic
and our blood gets pumpin'
and things start jumpin'
and the sight is
eroti-matic.

About 2 AM
when the rpm's
go flyin' off the charts
and the heavin'
and weavin'
gets me believin'
theres's too many smokin' parts.

Better cool our heels
slow down these thrills
before we upset the old canoe
and our underarms
set off fire alarms
from here to Kalamazoo.

Pheromones and bones
and slide trombones
Make an unlikely kinda mix
but we're the real deal
On the Ferris Wheel
that's where we
get our sensual kicks.

Powerful aphrodisiac words "secreted"
in your pheromone-esque poem
like Cupid's arrow stroke
send out your reader's nose
to look for those "olfactory cues"
follow the "magic bullet"
of "chemical signature" appeal
and whatever else
suits the master-smell
to give an extra kick!
use that body's evolutionary scent
to entice mate
onto that certain
je ne sais quoi...

Fascinating writing!
Thank you Edward, for sharing your funny-thoughts-provoking verse...making so many to wonder...What...If "straight men"
are wired to mate (study done on solely hetero)...and they
are not...?...or What if somebody hack into this "human system"
...or with Human IQ level increased...no longer have a need
for any...instincts and social odors...Shocking Science!

To Eunuchs and other Cheese Heads in Texas:

When the subject is sex and accounts of a love life,
why would you have anything to say?
And surely you know stinky sweat is what you get
when you cast your love net from Houston to Trinity Bay.

That Viagra is really working for you! And I'm glad you discovered the slide trombone--or is that just plagiarism? As for underarms, I find it more of a deterrent than a turn on. But to each his/her own.

Pheromones? I leave that up to the birds and bees. I prefer a sweet smelling, clean chick over of bad breath, sweat stinking one. ;-)

Hope it isn't that Ferris Wheel on Coney Island. The one that, as your revolve around and around, the seats you are in slide forward until you have a very bad sense that nothing is holding you onto the wheel. That would swivel your pheromones in one of those New York Minutes.
