Burning.
It shows love
The ultimate winner
Over evil.
It stops many things
But not a tyrant’s bullet
It does not right a wrong
It does not change a mind
Or give a heart where
There is none.
Where are the voices
Of reason among clerics
Who walk with
The killers?
Which doctrines are
Under examination?
Where is the soul searching?
Where there is no
Justification there
Is no justice.
Until that day arrives
Walk tall
Walk proud
Walk free and
Keep your powder dry.
