First Kiss
Ah those youthful days
When life affords us the kindness
And the generosity
To run and jump and engage it
With exuberance;
When we are forgiven for
Our excesses—
Mostly.
Hormones are
A game changer;
It is when bodies take on
New urges
That cascade into
New adventures
And all things sexual
Dominate;
When all but the brave
Are unprepared
For this vibrantly fresh
Outlook.
Fantasies emerge
And find their way
Into every waking moment;
It is a time when a boy
Must have 20 encounters
Each day to satisfy these
Overtly masculine sensations.
But fantasies have a way
Of overtaking our spirits
And our sprints;
And they can no longer
Be quenched by
Sleep or cold showers.
And then you are alone
With your special friend
And she looks so innocent
And she smells so nice
And you are consumed
By her looks
And her guile.
She puts your hand in hers
And your heart races;
She smiles and your
Breathing chokes your face
With ungodly distortions;
She looks longingly
Into your eyes;
As your feet melt away.
She moistens her lips
And her eyes scan your
Mind and body like a
Laser beam;
She pouts and sighs
And she tells you she is ready
For you.
You lunge and you stumble
You look but cannot see;
You listen but all sounds
Are muffled;
And in desperation
You pucker up for action--
This is the moment
The one you have waited for
The one you would die for;
You follow your instincts
You cross the threshold
Between now and eternity
You feel an ecstatic rush;
Your mind and soul blend with hers
As your lips project outward
And sail across oceans of love—
And they land squarely on
Her nose.
Ron
Love ya!
Jane
Rebecca
right up to the nose.
Be careful with that kiss,
and never say this blows.
