The last verse reminded me of an episode of Carl Sagan's series, Cosmos, where he illustrated the concept of traveling at light speed with a person on a bicycle. It was pretty amusing but it made a difficult concept much easier to understand. Blight returning the preceding night does exactly the same thing. As I said before, that was pretty clever of you!
I can always count on reading your work will cause some cells to celebrate. Your choice of subjects, unlike a lot of others, is always a surprise. This short trip with science was rewarding as you chose to address both small and large aspects of scientific wonder. Thanks for posting.
