Most of the time when they leave us, it is not because of them… Initially there was something that attracted them to us. But probably us that caused them to to leave. I don't see your poem taking responsibility for what you did to cause her to leave… But I'm confused, it looks like she died? Has she died?
Time to find someone more compatible with you that will stay with you for the long run.
My mother sent me the obituary of a girl that actually proposed to me on the first date, she was that desperate to get married. She was a hometown girl with a high school education and no desire to go to college… Anyway, when I didn't give her an engagement ring after six months, she left me for someone who would. She didn't marry him, but her best friend's brother who she told me she didn't like. She died young, about 70. I don't know what from, but she was a smoker. It hurt me when she left and I became paralyzed within a few months after. But I didn't feel any remorse in reading her obituary.
