“Bitter Loss” is a Reader’s Gain!

A rabid fan of the paranormal Sweet trilogy, anxiously awaiting the third after having read ‘Sweet Vengeance’ and ‘Sweet Discovery,’ it stands to reason, I fell headlong into the Fallen Pack series shorts: “Bitter Beginnings,” “Bitter Challenge,” and now, “Bitter Loss”.

Whereas the first two shorts basically pertain to Patrick, “Bitter Loss” is all about Maggie O’Connell, Patrick’s wife, and mother of their child, Jessica.

While you could conceivably read short no. 3 as a stand-alone, you’ll want to take your reading journey where it all “begins” and ties in with the Sweet Trilogy.

Maggie’s bitter loss is the reader’s gain. Without paranormal overtones, the author weaves a painfully realistic story about how someone can unravel from despondency and depression over a profound loss, eventually taking a downward spiral into an abyss. In Maggie’s case—a dark alley.

A highly recommended page turner and bridge burner!
