Outstanding Crime Fiction!

Author K.D. McNiven’s ‘The Weight of Consequence’ is a realistically riveting novel which doesn’t limit itself to tediously developing leads to solve a heinous murder. Deep secrets, dysfunctional family relationships, and past traumas are broached with depth, bringing each character to the forefront.

The reader is kept on edge from beginning to end as retribution shatters innocent lives, all the while police procedures and forensic techniques close in on a multitude of disturbing truths.
