Following closely behind Dr. Wright’s insomniac patients at the idyllic hotel resort, reserved for therapeutic purposes—you won’t sleep a wink—driven to turn the pages of Book 2 in P.J. Mann’s psychological thriller series of three.

The author’s cleverly crafted story has elements of: danger, pathos, sardonic humor, mystery, scientific subversion, subtle connections, unexpected character revelations, and references to Ethan Jackson in Book 1.

Interwoven throughout the plot, in good taste, is broad-mindedness with regard to sexual orientation and BDSM.

Landing on the last page left me worried for the fate of a few characters, enticing me to read Book 3.

Although I found pesky editing faux pas and stilted dialogue throughout, the storytelling dynamics and intrigue outweigh any shortcomings.

Overall, highly recommended!
