The author has an uncanny ability to probe the heart of darkness and stir it up with her imagination. She captures the reader’s attention through realistic, fast-paced plotting with unpredictable twists and turns.

Throughout each of the five stories in this collection, the characters are faced with getting swept away by life’s undertow. Whether they succumb to darkness, or find their inner light to survive, entails the breathtaking roller coaster ride of a book I highly recommend.
