Erotic Short: Desperation, Delusion, and Degradation
My 5-Star review in entirety published at Amazon for author Kristina Gallo’s forthright and edgy erotic short, "Seduce Her with a Fist".
Forewarned by the author that her erotic short is not a romantic story, Kristina Gallo delivers on a promise in the forthright storytelling embedded in “Seduce Her with a Fist”.
Centered on a dysfunctional hit-or-miss and hit-and-run relationship, the reader is dragged down to a sordid abyss to meet the protagonists at their level.
Valentina, a victim who succumbs to Croatian society’s expectation that women over 20 should be married, is desperate. Her weakness for hooligans makes her delusional in thinking she can change Petar’s lack of respect and offensive behavior toward her. Riding the tide of disillusionment, she allows herself to become more and more degraded.
The full effect of the title is felt at the end of the story.
Although, there is evidence of English as a second language throughout, it did not detract from the story’s impact. In fact, I came across memorable passages with vivid imagery, such as this one which prepares the reader for Valentina’s journey:
“She touched her lips. There was still a small line, so tiny that someone would need a magnifier to see this, but it was there. That line had a history. It was the track of the fist.”
An erotic short distinguished for the author’s forthright and edgy storytelling.
