My 5-Star review in entirety published at Amazon for Trisha J. Kelly’s engrossing detective story/mystery featuring an amateur female sleuth:

I thoroughly enjoyed this detective story/mystery featuring an adept amateur sleuth named Anna and her insightful partner, Bill, her dad.

The story has a distinct British flair which gives readers a glimpse of the scenic countryside, esoteric food, and no excuses needed to enjoy cups of tea during the day. A Cozy mystery, indeed!

Not so fast!

There’s plenty of dirt dug up inside the barn at Gladwell Farm, leading Anna and Bill into territory of child molestation and trafficking.

As for solving the case of Amy Owens who disappeared fourteen years ago, the author’s storytelling prowess supplies as many twists and turns as Amy’s aliases from the Eighties to present time.

I confess to getting goosebumps by the time I delved into Chapter 3, realizing I was in for a tumultuous ride leaving no one in Amy’s circle of friends exempt from repercussions.

Aside from sordid business, there’s plenty of heartwarming and gratifying moments built in to this highly recommended mystery.
