More Swirls than a Candy Cane! Holiday Mystery worth reading year round.

As much as PI, Virginia Prentice, despises Christmas, she agrees to investigate Myran Bishop, the wealthy owner of the Holiday Shop. Before she gets to the bottom of whether or not the philanthropist is covering up something sinister and sleazy, Ginny, the other agents, and the two who hired her, find themselves backed into a corner at every turn.
I highly recommend this Holiday Mystery on many levels:
The story has more swirls than a candy cane, such that the reader doesn’t know what to believe about Myron Bishop’s motives.
The author delivers many pot shots where they’re deserved.
He cleverly sheds light on the derivation of Myran Bishop’s name.
A cast of great characters, from the main protagonists to all others, including the regulars at Nick’s.
‘Christmas Presence’ is a heartwarming story for any time of the year.
As Norman Wesley Brooks put it, “Christmas is forever, not for just one day, for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.”
