Verified PurchaseLike author Terry Kerr’s character, Mike Donaldson, photojournalist of the Southport Leader, you’ll figure out what’s going on at Ghostland. However, you’ll want to keep it to yourself so as not to ruin the experience for potential readers.

Andy Corson, proprietor of Ghostland, gives the public what it wants—over-the-top thrills scaring them out of their wits. Terry Kerr gives fans of horror stories what they want by instilling in them dread and revulsion, riding on the coattails of perverse humor.

The author has a knack for storytelling, driven by the characters he brings to life. Some of whom you like, along with others you’ll detest, or feel sorry for. He achieves this through expository internal dialogue and realistic conversations. While I rooted for Toria Moss, I’m not so sure I’d like to become her friend.

I highly recommend this masterful work of horror. Betcha bobcats, I do.
