In this work of fiction, author P.S. Winn explores the psychological and emotional toll exacted by someone obsessed with protagonist, Janessa Walker. Proud of her independence for purchasing a new home, that happiness is short-lived when things begin to rattle her well-being and false sense of security.

Installing cameras and changing locks are no deterrent to her persistent stalker who escalates his harassment inside and outside her home at 75 Hawthorne Lane.

While stalking is the backbone of this story, and the reader may suspect the perpetrator, the element of a rekindled romance between Janessa and an old flame adds another dimension to this psychological fiction.

At every turn of the page, I became wary of what might happen next in this worthwhile read.
