Anna Casamento Arrigo’s poetry collection explores, extracts, and exposes snippets of truths emanating from the depths of her soul. Interspersed with vibrant canvases of her paintings, every poem in itself is a work of art splashed with vivid imagery vacillating from ethereal fields of jasmine and lavender to the “visceral stench of torn flesh gathered in haphazard mounds upon the floor”.

Respecting the reader’s intellect, Anna’s poetic prowess enables one to discern the diverse autobiographical threads in her intricately woven tapestry of motifs: grief, childhood innocence, depression, contentment, and determination:

In “Holding On Letting Go,” there’s the clarion call for suicide awareness.
