Author Christa Nardi’s ‘The Itch of Scandal,’ Book 4 of a mystery series, is a highly entertaining read. Delving into the murder of a popular and well-respected college professor, the net widens as to the probability of plausible possible suspects. That factor alone keeps the reader vigilant as Izzi Di Sante and her partner, Henry Jacob, methodically and thoroughly expand their investigation while being harassed, maliciously targeted, and not always well-received by those interviewed.

Many other facets keep the story grounded and ultra-interesting:

The challenges and drama pertaining to Cenare, her family restaurant; Izzie moving from her loft apartment above the restaurant to her parents’ former home; Izzie’s relationship with Henry, a private investigator.

I highly recommend ‘The Itch of a Scandal’ for all of its realistic hallmarks of a murder mystery.
