A Reader’s Spa Delight!
Author Tina-Marie Miller’s ‘The Chateau of Second Chances’ is captivating from the first to last page. Ms. Miller opens a door to the world of upper-crust characters, posh settings, and delectable dining through vivid descriptions which transport the reader to a lap of luxury.
Each memorable character, in need of time out, suffers from a form of “dis-ease” and finds themselves at Chateau Fontaine, getting more than they romantically bargain for in the process of healing.
The foibles, fetishes, and fears of scandal present many laugh-out-loud moments. As well, there were times I held my breath in trepidation for the fate of these characters, and wanted to borrow one of Murray’s handkerchiefs.
The author’s cheeky humor and knack for hopping from one situation to another hold the reader’s attention throughout a story I didn’t want to end. I highly recommend booking a literary stay at Chateau Fontaine.
