Gripping Suspense

There’s no rest for Rachel Blackstone, the protagonist in author Jacqueline Terrill’s psychological thriller, whose perplexing husband, Seth, has rendered her weary. He’s become her demonic nemesis, backed by his identical twin and vengeful mother, to cite just two unsavory characters.

Set in Pennsylvania and commencing at Thanksgiving, ‘The Hunt’ was the perfect escape at the same point in time I started reading it. So enthralled in what transpires, 524 pages flew by: elements of danger, deception, malice, mystery, conspiracy, fraud and a new romantic prospect for Rachel.

There are plenty of surprise twists and shocking revelations which keep the reader glued to this gripping suspense. An added bonus is a courageous female lead over the age of forty who comes into her own.

I highly recommend this absorbing novel for your fireside read.
