J.S. Frankel’s Seven Times Unto Eternity evolves through his seamless weaving of Paige DeMaster’s backstories and present-day surrealism in Manhattan. Seems the original incarnated Anek, a male who hailed from a centuries-old nomadic culture, is fated to reincarnate female each of those seven times.
There’s more than meets the eye as to the whys and wherefores of Anek’s reincarnation and repetitious deaths at knifepoint from Carna, an evil nemesis. The author reveals this in due time.
Finding love with Selena Chan provides an outlet for all of the admirable, relentless hammering the author does to nail the timeless ills of an evolving world: bigotry, racism, homophobia, transphobia, and misogyny.
I highly recommend this young adult paranormal fantasy driven by the element of same-sex romance in the real world.

I have a hard time understanding why one male would find another male attractive enough to have sex with them and want to marry. During the teenage years when hormones are raging, young women have a tendency to reject all comers except for those they think will protect them. Whereas, during those years, males bond easily. Perhaps it is the fear of rejection and the ease of acceptance into the gay world that some men fall into it and find it comfortable and enjoyable. Especially without the burden of having children unless one wants them.
On the other hand, women seem very comfortable with gay guys. Perhaps because they don't seem to be a threat when it comes to sex.
Apparently Frankel has a good way of handling these issues very well according to your review.
