This Sweet Romance swirling around the glitter of Christmas is a reader’s self-indulgence. Above and beyond the crunch of boots on freshly-fallen snow, cups of hot cocoa, and coziness—there’s a buzz-kill named Samantha who throws a wrench in the works of a potentially budding romance between Darci and Brian. Greg’s a downer too.

I even had my dander up, dismissing the leading man based on what I considered a callous decision and wishy-washy demeanor. Glad he got himself a brass set.

Conflict, tension, heartache, and hope kept me turning the pages at a rapid rate. Upon my arrival on the last page, I didn’t want the ambience of Hope Falls to end.
