Author J.S. Frankel weaves a winning combo of YA and Sci-Fi—far out, I might add. As in an alien visitor from Planet Allura posing as Sam Aushumness’ Aunt Gunnerill from Croatia. Lucky for him! An only child, 16 yrs. old when his parents were killed by a drunk driver, Sam would fall under the jurisdiction of social services. So-called Aunty A—rotund and dowdy, but not your average Mrs. Doubtfire by any means, works her magical charm for becoming Sam’s legal guardian.

Let the adventures begin!

Through Aunty A’s commando-type drills, Sam, social outcast and weakling, eventually holds his own against a pair of bully brothers in a day-of-reckoning fight.

In harm’s way of the Waneyans—foul-smelling, vile croc-men who’ve descended to earth to capture Aunty A who’s really a princess on her planet, the author gives his readers a run for their money dodging danger at every street corner.

Whether Sam, his girlfriend Kym, and Aunty A are pursued by Waneyans, or an opportunistic pest of a reporter, or local police and G-men—you’ll turn the pages quickly to keep up with the action.

And, another thing: The author, through Sam, makes some astute comments about society on earth which give pause to ponder.

‘The Incredible Aunty Awesomesauce’ is a well-written and gratifying read which I highly recommended.
