Heartwarming Magic

Author Mary R. Woldering’s Contemporary Fantasy/Urban Fiction short read, ‘Arrow in the Snow,’ is a well-crafted story of magical realism with a twist. The eyes of Fletcher Ross, a homeless teen, bear an uncanny resemblance to Mona Brigg’s deceased husband who died tragically sixteen years ago. His skin and hair coloring bear an uncanny resemblance to Detective Mick McCrimmon’s deceased wife and child who died tragically sixteen years ago.


Whether by whim or carefully orchestrated fate by a street urchin with mythical ties, Mona and Mick meet.

What ensues is heartwarming magic, courtesy of the author’s storytelling prowess and imagination.

I highly recommend this enveloping read.
