I've been accepted by three different companies so far, but the jobs are very competitive.  The jobs are gone between the time I open the e-mail and get to the control panel of the web site.  That's why I applied with more than one. 

These people seem to want a three day or less turnaround on their writing product.  Some topics are outside my capabilities, like comparisons on the Church of England, and topics on microbiology, and I don't think I want to start out with something as difficult as a Department of Defense budget analysis.  There have been easier topics, but they go fast.

If you're interested, this work pays between $7 and $20 per page, so if you wrote several articles, you could make some bucks.

If anyone has experience with any of these companies, I'd like to hear your input.  So far I'm just waiting.  Apply and wait with me.  It's money!
