I want to know what it is that I pay for to be on this site. I want to know how I can be a featured author? How I can get the recognition that I know my writing is good enough to deserve and get?

I know if I got more traffic on my work that I may have the break I need to break out into the publishing world.

What is authorsden about if not that? Just a place for posting your writing? I can do that anywhere and not pay for it, or I can leave it on paper. Thats how much attention my work gets here.

It seems certain authors get the attention that a lot of us others also deserve. I don't do this for a hobby. This is a dream, a passion, a gift, something to do for a living. I have words that I need to get out there. And I thought this was a good start at it. But my hits are extremely minimal.
I don't have a lot of time to be on here, so if reviewing others writing is the only way to get notice then I am screwed cuz all though I would love to read everyone elses words, I barely have time to get my own on here.

From what I understood this was a good place to be noticed by could be publishers and agents. A place to be noticed.....
