My first Sci-Fi work ever, I think...

Comments on the writing of "The Flying Dutchman".
I took a break from working on "The Dark Ages", as I was having a bit of writer's block again. After finishing "the Flying Dutchman" I feel I'll be able to continue it.

The main reason I wrote the short piece was because I've had a lot of people refer to my novels as good examples of that genre. For a long while I tried to explain that they are dark fantasy; now, I just say, "thank you", even when they've been compared to "Star Trek"(?).

I hope anyone who reads it likes it. That was a short story that just would not stop! I guess it's also my first novella, too. My only worry is that astute readers may find gaping holes in the "science"...hopefully, I'll be forgiven.

So sometime, if you've got an half hour to kill, give it a read. I'd also like reviews, which are supposed to become easier to post on this site.
