Things Just Seem to Come Together 6/23/2010 3:30:22 PM
Posted on www.martimelville.com under "Blog" tab last week. I was at work today and received an email from a close friend. Her email was a discussion on some of the marketing ideas she has brilliantly put together. At the bottom of the screen was a thumbnail photo of a guy she knows. I glanced at it and felt chills run down my spine and tears well up in my eyes. I was staring at the perfect likeness of the Captain (from "Midnight Omen Deja vu").
My friend simply made a casual comparason: "My idea about the character, clearly from my own take on what I have read, seems to be (him)...".
I've found my Pirate Captain! (now the trick is to talk him into letting us hire him for the photo shoot and launch party in Salt Lake coming up).
It amazes me how the universe responds when the request is made! Things just fall together and opportunities (and people) present themselves to you!
