Eclipse

What is it about Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" books that makes us never want to stop?
So...it's 1:07 am and I've just returned from the "midnight premier" (shown at 10pm) of Eclipse. I loved it! But I cannot figure out why!

I'm leaving it up to you to help me figure this out. The theater was chuck-full of women from 12 up to "old" and everyone was screaming when it started. So... WHAT IS IT ABOUT THOSE TWILIGHT movies that pulls us all in?

Please post your answer to this question. I am dying (get the pun?) to find out what makes us love Edward, Bella and Jacob so much (actually, Alice is my favorite but I think it's her cute hair).
