Beautiful on the Bloggin' Trails 6/1/2010 1:14:21 PM
Family pets and outings go hand and leash! Hi All,
As the title states, it is a beautiful day. Sunny, not too hot, just the right temperatures and a light blowing of wind to keep you cool.
The Dog is still with me, she is enjoying the wonderful weather despite any discomfort she may feel. I think she knows her days are not many here and she wants to show her Mistress that she is still worthy of living. It is hard to make a decision for a life, however one must do what is best for the one that cannot people talk.
We enjoyed a nice short walk on the bloggin' trails, took in the beauty of the nature around us. I had us stand in one spot and I bent low to the dog and said, "listen to all the birds singing their morning. They are greeting you girl." The sun was shining bright so when she looked up at me her eyes were at half mask. She looks so adorable when she looks up like that.
We have had to change our daily routine somewhat. The cat well he is just being plain good. He allows the dog to get all the attention. I do sneak over to the little tabbby and give him what he rightly deserves. He is a special cat in that he always stood back, not needing to be out front seeking all the attention. He is a great little companion.
Well, these are some tranquil thoughts here on the bloggin' trails, still hoping to bump into a few lost friends. We sure have a lot of catching up to do. Until then enjoy the simple things in life, hug your family pets and relax. Hope to see you on the bloggin' trails....
